Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!
Its a wonderful season and one that I am truly savoring this year.  I often wonder what life will look like without my immediate family to share all of my experiences with, but I realize that this season is one that God has been preparing me for.

I want to take a moment to update you on the status of my fundraising!  As mentioned in my letter, one of my largest needs is for a consistency in giving, and to this point I have 1/4th of my needed monthly income!  I realize that these kinds of requests come often, but here is what I would as you to pray about:

The consistency in giving doesn't have to be a large amount!  If I can get 20 people to commit to $25 a month, that alone will put me to 1/2 of my needed monthly income!  To me, it seems a lot more feasible when I realize that even a small donation monthly will make a huge difference when it is combined with the giving of other people. 

The second thing would be EOY giving.  December can be a chance for some to get their extra donations off before the end of the year so they can be claimed during the 2010 tax season.  I would ask you not only to think about this for yourself, but to spread the word if you know others who may need to make EOY donations.
